The Spark

When Matt Hurley built The Port Comedy Club into a legitimate, high-quality comedy venue, something shifted.

This wasn’t just another open mic room.
This was a place where:

  • Comics could actually develop

  • Audiences showed up ready to laugh

  • And the energy felt like something bigger was building

That’s when we knew—we had to document it.

The Idea

“All Hands On Deck” came from a simple place:

If Baltimore has the talent, why not showcase it the right way?

Not just filming stand-up.
Not just throwing clips online.

We wanted to:

  • Capture the performances

  • Tell the stories behind the comics

  • And create something that feels like a real platform, not just content

So we built it as a hybrid:

The Execution
